Easter Holiday Meetups with Friends in Spring + Surprise Winter

Easter is the only holiday to come with a guaranteed five-day-long continuous holiday. I wish Christmas-time came wrapped in a similar package.
Since I was still on crutches, we didn’t do much of anything, but we did manage to meet up with some friends, use our hot tub for the first time this year, and then scratch our heads as winter suddenly appeared again as we headed back to work on Tuesday morning. (9 images total)

The kids ate first, and then disappeared back into tv-land, so the adults got to eat in peace and quiet.

We invited Holla and Óli over for lunch, except they ended up bringing all the food, while we pretty much just provided the plates, glasses, and the utensils. It worked out nicely though!

We managed to use the hot tub for the first time this year before March was over!

With spring in the air, we were a little shocked to wake up the next morning to 5 cm (2 inches) of snow on the ground!

After dropping Emma off at daycare, I went to the hospital for attempt #2 of getting the movement-hindering-screw removed. After a short wait I was called up and told there’d been a scheduling mistake. Apparently somebody had realized over the weekend that there would be no one to remove my screw this Tuesday morning, but forgot to call me to reschedule. So back to work I went, with instructions to show up again two days later. #gnashingofteeth
