Lots-of-Snow Day & Christmas Photo Attempt #2
[Photos from 1 December 2015, posted online 3 February 2016. It’s bad, I know!]
The weather forecast predicted so much snowfall on this day, that most adults who could work from home, did so, me included. So I said goodbye to the kids, and then had a lovely day working from home. It’s entirely possible that when I get back on my two feet, that I’ll try to institute a work-from-home day every month.
Once they got home, I put up the insta-photo-studio, manged to convince the kids to put nice clothes on, and then I took photos to use for a Christmas card. The card got made, but was never printed, and was only distributed online. Oh well, there’s always next year!
Bjarni came over for dinner, and then I took photos of the copious amount of snow covering the ground, after two days of snowfall.
Photos! (26 photos total)

Emma on her sled as I pulled her home from daycare that afternoon.

Back to the beginning. Here is Bjarki heading off to school.

Emma wasn’t quite ready to face the day yet.

The view out the window at 11 am.

After getting some stuff done for work, it was time to fetch Emma from daycare.

We live very close to where the town keeps its heavy duty machinery, so our paths get cleared fairly early on after snowfalls.

Photo time! Emma putting her best fake smile on.

Anna trying to be patient with me as I struggled with the light-setup.

Bjarki trying to get Emma to smile after she hurt herself, since he wanted this torture over and done with as soon as possible!

Cutie pies!

Oh, the sibling love.

Yay, one photo where one of them isn’t scowling!

Emma, solo.

Full of mischief!

Haha! I got you!

Afterwards, we made some ginger snaps from dough I’d made a few days before.

My brother Bjarni, potentially studying.

Emma’s eyes glued to the TV.

Bjarki spares me a second of his time and looks up.

Dinner time!

Me discovering why I had kids… So that they could shovel the parking lot! Anna is now so big and strong that she did it with gusto!

Hello snow. (Seen from inside our garage.)

Our picnic table, slightly covered with snow.

I like the juxtaposition of the sun-brella, and All. That. Snow!

The view out another window, and confirmation that Christmas lights were up on 1 December!
