Quiet Time

Yesterday was a day of catching up with family and friends, we hardly spent any time at home!
Today’s been more quiet. I spent the morning finishing up my homework for an online course I’m taking, helped the kids go out to play in the first decent snowfall of the season (mostly gone by mid-afternoon), then took Anna on a trip to the library downtown, before dropping her off at a friend’s place.
Then it was ‘me-time’ which meant searching for winter-proof shoes (close, but no shoes), and then camping out at the Gló restaurant/cafe to blog a big. In peace and quiet.
New combo: Tea and delicious chocolate cake. Yum!
