Open Air World Cup Viewing Party

On this lovely Sunday, I took the kids downtown to visit the main library. After the library we went to the cafe next door to drink some hot chocolate, but as we stepped out we heard some fun music which deserved investigating.

Turns out a company had sponsored a public world cup viewing party, and while people were waiting for the game to start, a DJ was playing fun club music.

We hung out for a little while.

This square is usually pretty empty and desolate, but some marketing department had decided to outfit it with a big screen, lots of seating, and a DJ to keep people entertained.

Bopping to the music. (Sadly my cell phone has a pitiful sound recorder, so the cool music was totally lost when I attempted to video this.)

After this we made a quick stop at my brother Nökkvi’s place, where Anna borrowed some moooooore manga books.
