France Day 6: Finnur’s 40th Birthday!

Finnur turned 40 years old and our collective gift to him was not going anywhere for a whole day, except I took the kids on a playground/bakery/grocery store walk before lunch. (15 images total)

These were all fantastic! I sort of regret not buying one every day.

The only hiccup to this otherwise calm and relaxing day was Emma going on a breaking spree. She somehow escaped out onto the patio with this glass, and smashed it to pieces. Thankfully the deck was wet so the glass scattered over a smaller area.

She also managed to smash this plastic plate on the tile floor in the kitchen. Thankfully the house-owners were understanding of us having a crazy toddler, but to clear our karma we sent them a CD after we returned to Iceland.
