Bjarki’s 7th Birthday – The Family and Friends Party

We hosted a “family and friends” birthday party for Bjarki on a semi-sunny Saturday afternoon.  As is customary in the middle of the summer, a lot of people were traveling and/or sick with some bug, so a lot of people couldn’t make it.  We still had a full house, and a good time was had by all!  (I hope!!) We'd discussed the present opening schedule the night before. The first present was opened right after waking up, and the remainder would be opened once the kids had helped tidy their rooms. Yes, we're that evil.

Opening the last of the presents, this was a Lego Movie computer game from us the old folks.

Soon it was time to eat hamburgers and hot dogs. Halli manned the BBQ, while I was on bun-duty in the kitchen.
