The Great Melt

Finally, FINALLY, we got a ‘warm’ day (temperature slightly over freezing point) coupled with tons of RAIN!
The result was a LOT of melt-water, that needed some help getting to a drain.
Enter the manly men of the street:
Finnur and our neighbor wielding an ax and lots of hot water to make channels so that the melt-water could flow down the drains.
As of today, our street is finally 95% clear of ice! Yay!
