Cutie and a Cute Waterfall

Finnur’s fancy electric bike broke after he biked through a big puddle while getting home on the Great Melt Day.

A transportation conundrum ensued the following Thursday when we needed to a) take the bike to the repair shop, b) drive me and Emma to and from the gym, c) ensure Finnur spent as little time as possible away from his work computer for reasons, while still getting him to the office.

I was only made aware of requirement c) after we were en route, so we ended up with a slightly crazy plan. Me and Emma got dropped off at the gym just in time for my session, Finnur dropped Emma’s car seat off at his parents’ place, which is within walking distance from said gym, Finnur took the bike to the shop, and then himself to the office. Meanwhile, after I was done at the gym, I walked on over to Finnur’s parents’ place, and they then drove me and Emma home, just in time for her nap.

Thanks to the Great Melt, the roads were sandy but non-bumpy. We walked past this cute waterfall, and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the two cuties.
