Keyboard Fun
Emma’s recently discovered that crawling all over our big keyboard is a lot of fun! And fiddling with the light over it is also fun when it’s getting dark… (3 images and 2 videos total)

Which reminds me… I totally forgot to post the video to this year’s Anna’s Music School Christmas Concert Song. This year she chose “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”, played with ‘broken’ chords (meaning she’s always switching fingers on her left hand, instead of keeping them still for the duration of the bar, which is way easier). She was very nervous when playing the concert and made a couple of mistakes, so I got her to replay it when we got back home for a more continuous performance.
In other news, the weather took a turn for the snowy last night. Yes, the ground has been white due to frozen banks of ice pretty much for a month now, but the weather has mostly been in stasis, with hardly any additional precipitation. So yesterday we got both a bit of rain and snow, which meant everything was covered with frosty snow today. And looked quite lovely.
