The first few days of the year were mostly quiet. Here’s Emma at the tree gate on 1 January: (6 images total)

On the second day of the year she got lucky when she managed to dislodge the lower dish-washing-machine rack – and promptly pushed around the kitchen.

Must all children do this? Yeees, apparently!

The biggest forward step in baby care since the other two were wee ones have to be these food-pouches. They’re sooo convenient, the kids can suck their own food (mostly fruits, although some veggies are available) at their own speed, and you don’t need a spoon if you’re on the go. Brilliant!
