The first few days of the year were mostly quiet.  Here’s Emma at the tree gate on 1 January: (6 images total)

On the second day of the year she got lucky when she managed to dislodge the lower dish-washing-machine rack - and promptly pushed around the kitchen.

The biggest forward step in baby care since the other two were wee ones have to be these food-pouches. They're sooo convenient, the kids can suck their own food at their own speed, and you don't need a spoon if you're on the go. Brilliant!

Another fun thing Emma enjoys doing is fiddling with the big volume knob on our sound system amplifier. Thankfully, it's a bit stiff, so she doesn't blast her ears off. She also tend to turn the volume down and not so much up.
