Emma Masters Sitting Up and Sushi Dinner

Emma’s been working hard on her motor skills, and this past week she’s been perfecting the art of sitting up by herself. Well done, Emma! (6 images total)
Emma goes from her tummy to sitting up. Easy piece-y!
I continued my quest for a suitable dinner outfit that day, and found something not quite terrible at Fröken Júlía – Búð fyrir konur (Ms. Julia – A Store For Women) in the tiny Mjódd shopping center. Afterwards I patched my injured soul via sugar and caffeine:
Shopping for clothes really drains me. This was the first Swiss Mocca I’ve had in two years!
Dinner itself was fun! We went to the Sakebarinn for some sushi. (Yes, that’s the top I got, mangled by my awkward posture as I tried to fit into the photo along with the food.

Some of the other gals. You can see one of the waitresses walk by. The service gets no awards, but the food was good.
Hjördís sat opposite me, and also got the Deluxe platter. And since this is Iceland, the group sitting just behind her on the left included a world famous Icelandic singer/songwriter. Not staring is hard.
