First Day of School

Finnur walked Bjarki to school on his first school day.  Emma came along, while Anna stayed home with a fever, and Hrefna was giving a radar lecture at the NordVulk Summer School.

Bjarki by his cubbie, where he can store his clothes. The aftercare is right next to his classroom, so his clothes stay there the whole day, and we can even leave some outerwear there overnight.

I totally forgot to take pictures at the Summer School, but later in the day I took this photo to show how far Emma's started to venture off her playmat. Not long until she'll be a total menace!

We won't be sending Anna to the English school this year, it was too much bother for not a lot of return. So I'm going to try and coax her into working on her English at least once a week. We've got some nice workbooks called Brain Quest, and we'll be using those.

Anna working hard. It so happened she'd chosen the 'Science' chapter and it was all about the planets, and we'd just watched a video on them on YouTube the night before. Oh, sweet coincidence! Never leave!
