The comment Google+ gave me on the new image was “This photo was created using the best smiles in a set of similar photos.”  Which means that

  1. Google detected that the two photos were very similar (not terribly hard to do, in spite of the moving guy in the background).
  2. Google found the two faces in the photo (this is a “solved problem”)
  3. Google detected WHICH SMILE WAS BETTER (this freaks me out, HOW GOOGLE, HOOOW?!?!)
  4. Google seamlessly morphed Adda’s ‘better face’ onto Photo 1 (waaaay better than I ever could.)
