Húsafell: Horses at Giljar

Anna and Arnar went first.

Anna got to control her own horse (having been riding for most of the summer), while Arnar got a hand with his. They walked a good while.

Walking off into the distance.  They walked past the house, and down the hill quite a ways before returning.

The rest of us got to cuddle with the other animals while the kiddos were gone.

Our cars could have done with some loving attention as well. They were quite muddy after driving on non-paved roads.

We ate a late lunch at the restaurant, which had this lovely sign up. So very true. 🙂
