An Evening Visit to Miðdalur
[Written 25 August 2013]
My engineer/lawyer-sewing club (as opposed to the Ex-CA-living club) headed out to an impromptu camping trip the same weekend we were at Laugarvatn, and it so happened that they were a 15 minute drive away from us, in Miðdalur (Middle-valley).
Once we’d settled in and had dinner, we therefore drove on over and enjoyed a few hours in the beautiful outdoors with excellent company.
A video of kids having a blast on the genius that is the jumping mat.

Bjarki borrowed some golf equipment and once I’d told him he didn’t have to start from scratch every time he didn’t hit the hole, he spent a loooong time playing. We may have a golfer on our hands…

Óli got out his guitar and we had a fun sing-a-long over snacks and drinks. We stayed for a while, but had to leave once the kids started looking too tired.
A short video of the singing and snacking.
