Growth Spurt Day
Interestingly, this little chickling here…
The Littlest Chickling
… has basically slept through the day. Yes, it’s now almost 3 pm (and she just woke up), and she drank around 8 am, and again around 11 am, but she’s otherwise been asleep. So I’m just going to go ahead and assume today is the “Six Week Growth Spurt”, even though it’s a few days too early, seeing how she’s five weeks old and a day. Better go hunt down some bigger clothes, as her toes are already poking at the end of this 6 m Carter’s outfit…! 🙂
Meanwhile, it’s Window-Weather season, with bright pretty skies and freezing temps:
Mostly snowless ground, except for a few reminders from the blizzard the other day.
Today is also the spring equinox, which is fitting, seeing how we’re in the middle of the Daylight Whiplash, where all of a sudden Anna’s walking to school in the morning and we’re eating dinner at night in broad daylight. Bjarki’s been pretty confused by the whole thing, getting really bummed out over ‘oversleeping’ one morning, because it was light out once he woke up. 🙂
