Better Safe Than Sorry

The docs decided to start Ms. Bambino on antibiotics last night after all, so she’s back in the NICU.

She does look very good, but she does have a fever and blood work confirms she’s mildly fighting something.

So the docs prefer to be safer than sorry, especially because I’m a so called ‘strep-b carrier’. And it’s clear her breathing has improved (slowed down) since last night.

We don’t know how long she’ll be here, it’ll be clearer tomorrow – but we’re probably talking ‘days’.
