Aaaaaand we’re back at the NICU

Hrefna noticed a bit labored breathing and increased irritation in ourn little girl so after measuring a slight fever the doctors decided to put her under observation at the NICU, suspecting a slight infection. I’m sitting in a layzyboy chair next to my daughter who’s being worked on by a nurse through holes in the side of the incubator.

Man, this brings back a *lot* of memories. Fortunately this time we’re just waiting for some bloodwork and then probably some antibiotics. Well, that is the hope anyway…

Oh, Hrefna just rolled in on a wheelchair (pushed by a nurse).

Update 23:53: blood test results normal. Discharged from the NICU and moving back down to the regular ward shortly.
