Nesting
We’re officially ‘nesting’.
I washed the first load of baby clothes today. And yesterday we went to the Ikea sale to buy a tiny cheap crib (cheaper than in the US, and I think we got the last one!), because the American one we have is HUUUUGE (it’s mostly crazy tall) and it won’t fit into our bedroom where the wee one will be sleeping to begin with.
In a fit of remarkable productivity, Finnur also hauled down the mountain of paperwork that’s been accumulating for the past couple of years (or more) and sorted it all away into folders last night. He even found some old Christmas cards in the pile, so I decided to share in the ‘overdue projects’ pain and re-started the ‘gather up the Christmas-card photos we get sent every year and put them chronologically into one album’-project. I got through 2000-2006 last night.
So yes. Little things are-a-happening. And I have hobbit-feet, minus the hair.
