Goodbye January
Finally, January is drawing to a close. It hasn’t been the funnest of months, particularly with me either parked on the sofa, or hobbling about on crutches for most of it. But there is more daylight now than when it started, so at least it’s gotten something right. 🙂
Quick preggers update: No protein in urine this morning, but blood-pressure still naughtier than it used to be. The OB-doc declined to up my medicine yesterday, but is instead sending me to a monitoring session tomorrow (Friday) to have my blood-pressure observed over time as I lounge in a lazy-boy for a couple of hours.
Otherwise, it’s been a quiet day. I managed to nap after the appointment this morning (total sleep hours now close to a respectable 7) and am now, shock/horror, lounging on the sofa.
The biggest anticipation of the day is Anna coming home, because it looks like she mis-remembered the timing of her handball-practice session and took the bus an hour early (or that’s what it sounded like when I talked to a friend of hers earlier). She’s otherwise done really well with the whole bus-thing, and we’ve had no serious mishaps… yet.
Anyway, to make this post a teeny bit more visually interesting, here are three photos from this afternoon:
