Crib Assembly
This Sunday started out super lazy. A little tooooo super lazy for my tastes, because I had grand plans to TIDY EVERYTHING (well, let Finnur TIDY EVERYTHING) but he really just wanted to have a quiet Sunday. As in, a “weekend”.
Nesting really sucks when your left leg is out of order. And you’re grumpy.
In the end we did manage to get quite a few things done: Indoor yuletide lights came down, yuletide boxes went back into the garage, stray photos were put into albums, downstairs no longer looks like a major whirlwind went through there, but most mentally pleasing (to the handicapped nester) was the crib assembly.
Yes, Finnur, Anna, and Bjarki all pulled together to assemble the Ikea crib we got on sale the other day:
Anna and Finnur hard at work. The only problem: There’s not a whole lot of space for a crib in our room. We did move the big bed further away from the closets, but we’ll have to play around with the final crib placement once we start using it for real.
Bjarki was the guardian of the screws, etc.
Meanwhile, “Useful Me” lay flat on the bed with my feet up in the air, after being vertical for a wee bit too long taking down the yuletide lights and getting rewarded with some feet swelling.
