Quick recap of the day (with Finnur still gallivanting around in California – lucky bugger!)

Handed the kids over to Finnur’s parents at noon-time.  They are really saving my arse here, because I’m basically an incompetent parent at the moment except in very short bursts.  Went and got a proper lunch.  Went home, straight to bed and stayed there (more or less) until dinner-time.  Reheated leftovers for dinner, and then dragged myself to the living room to enjoy a bit of tv, while demolishing nose-tissues left and right.

I’m pretty bummed that I’m not really any better health-wise today than I was yesterday, aside from half an hour around 5 pm today.  My left ear has been pressurized shut for most of the day like yesterday, so I’m partially deaf.  Throat’s still sore, head’s still clogged, and I’m being a noisy (huffy?) breather because there is phlegm down there I’m not getting up so well and the lungs are also being squeezed by this other being.  As a result, staying upright is somewhat non-trivial.

Blergh.  There’s really no other word for it.
