Snow!! For Realz!!
We got our first proper snowfall yesterday, and it’s finally cold enough outside for the snow to stick around for a bit. 🙂
Not surprisingly, Anna spent all of yesterday out sledding, even though the grass is only just barely covered with snow.
Today, the kids went out again, this time with a friend:

Kids on their way to go sledding. One of the greatest things about living in Iceland is the ability to send the kids out on their own to play unsupervised! (Bjarki’s face is extra red because they had a costume-day at daycare yesterday, and his entire face got painted as Spiderman, using red paint that refuses to come off!)
UPDATE!
We picked the kids up from where they were sledding by Anna’s school later in the day. This is the ‘little’ hill, right behind the school:
