Lazy Sunday
Sunday was such an excellent day weather-wise, that we decided to just hang out and chill the entire day.

I reclaimed my camera at some point and got Adda to take a walk around the ‘neighborhood’ with me. This is (a portion of) our house.

Our ‘personal’ dumpsters. There didn’t seem to be many others around so we had these mostly to ourselves. It’s a little embarrassing just how much garbage we left over one week.

The actual farm ‘Hrísar’, right below our house. I don’t know if they still do much farming there, we didn’t see many animals about.

The kids joined us on our walk. It was a little difficult for Bjarki who was tired and hungry, but he made it up to the top house and back down again mostly in one piece.

The landowners apparently planted a good number of trees some years ago and are now reaping the benefits. (Only trees planted within sheep-proof fences tend to survive in Iceland – the sheep love saplings!)
