Curtains Part #2

We took a little break from curtain making, after overdosing on it two days in a row the week before. But soon Ríkey was back with her sewing kit, and back at work making our house look nicer. We paid her in food. 🙂

Soon the sewing machine was out, to finish sewing the pinned top.
Ríkey managed to finish one side of the curtains that day, so she came again the next day (25 July) to do the other side.
Epic downpour on 25 July. It didn’t last at this ferocity though, but it continued raining for a long while.

Once all the sewing was done, we installed the curtain-railing using a drill and a vacuum to minimize dust.
Yay!! We have living room curtains!! 🙂 And kids who love YouTube cartoons.
The full curtains, straight as can be on the bottom, but un-ironed. We’ll try to get that done before Christmas. 🙂
