Just an update on the whole molar-decapitation-leads-to-excessive-swelling situation. It’s now Sunday (molar sawed in half this past Monday) and here’s my latest mug-shot.
Sunday. Feeling mostly normal.
The swelling doesn’t really look quite as bad as the image would suggest (I was looking towards the right, which is probably pushing the skin forward a bit), but it’s still there – I can feel it. One has too look pretty hard to see it though.
As the swelling has gone down, I’ve been able to open my mouth more. On Thursday I could barely get my teeth around a skinny hot dog (frankfurter, SS pylsu), and today I could bite the hot dog, and about half the bread surrounding it. Yes, it’s been a hot-dog heavy few days. Don’t ask.
