Álafosskvos
We had a mini-California reunion today, and met up with the Guðrúns and the Elsas at Álafosskvos. None of us had been there, so we didn’t quite know what to expect, but it was pretty idyllic, with a ‘monkey swing’, a slide, and a little coffee-shop.

Once we’d had enough of the fresh air, we ambled to the nearby coffee-house, and managed to score a table for thirteen.
The kids all got chocolate cake, while the adults got ‘open sandwiches’. Good stuff! 🙂

After a bit of grocery shopping we arrived home to marvel at our new house-sign. We got this made to order the other day to match the sign on the other side of our duplex (semi-detached), and Finnur-the-handy-man installed it earlier today. Apparently there used to be a sign there, but the first owners removed it when they moved, and installed it at their summer house!
