Motherly Skillz

I’ve never had much confidence in the hair-business.  My hairdo is invariably less of a hair-do and more of a hair-don’t, and that’s how it’s been for years.  Even when I had waist-long hair in my teens, I did precious little with it – mostly because I didn’t know how.

Now that I’m the proud mommy to an ever-growing girl with ever-growing hair, I’ve had to suck it up and improve my hair-skillz.  Slowly I seem to be making progress, and tonight I figured it was time to show off a bit.  Yes, I pulled off not one, but two, ‘stuck’ braids without making too much of a mess of it.  (Sure, they ain’t perfect, but hey!  I’m a newbie!)
