Summer-house Work-trip
Every five weeks we have access to the summer-house Finnur co-owns with his siblings. We usually invite people to come along with us, but this weekend “people” seemed to be either sick or busy so we went by our lonesome selves. We weren’t entirely alone though, because Finnur’s parents, who own a summer-house within easy walking distance of the other house, also spent the weekend there.
It was probably for the best that no ‘visitors’ were there, since this was a ‘working-vacation’ if there ever was one. Parts of the roof got mended, berries were picked, windows were sanded, outside walls got treated etc. etc.

Bjarki got to hold the caterpillar. And yes, he's wearing Anna's old pink rain-pants. Gender-neutrality in action! 🙂

Finnur wore this raincoat on a near-daily basis back when we were, erm, getting acquainted and working outdoors. The text on the back says "You get it at Max's". We thought that was awfully funny back in the day... 🙂
Gasp! More tool-usage! I was a little jealous at this point since I was stuck minding the kids. But then I took the kids inside and we all napped for 2-3 hours, and all was forgiven. 🙂
