Finally, a Good Sign

This is just a little note to let the world know that I DO NOT HAVE A FEVER TONIGHT!!!!!  🙂 🙂 🙂

Yes, this is the first evening since Friday May 6th that I DO NOT HAVE A FEVER!!!!

Shall we count how many consecutive fever-filled evenings that was then… EIGHT!  Yes, for 8 consecutive nights my little trusty, hospital-grade, hospital-issued, digital thermometer measured temps of 38.0-38.6°C (100.4-101.5°F) orally, which is usually taken to be an underestimation of the ‘real’ temperature by about 0.5°C/1°F.

Yeah, so it’s been a long boring slog, but I can see the end now, which makes it all better.  Yes, I still have a nasty nasty cough, and my left ear keeps jamming up, and there seems to be a permanent high-pitched static in my head, but at least I’m NO LONGER FEVERISH!!!  YAAAAAAYYYYYY!!! 🙂
