The Road Home
We were invited to an Easter-feast in Reykjavik on Sunday, so we drove back home on the Saturday after a most splendid stay. We can’t wait to get back! 🙂

We had a small Easter-egg hunt in the morning. We'd gotten the kids some small chocolate eggs, and they mostly devoured them that morning. Here is Þóra in the foreground helping the others find their eggs.

Next time I need to attempt to capture the awesomeness of the bottom of the fjord better. Here two valleys are visible, but there are more like six or eight valleys that come down into this one area, and it is soooo cool-looking!

This is for any and all Android developers. From Wikipedia: "Dalvik is the process virtual machine (VM) in Google's Android operating system. Dalvik is thus an integral part of Android, which is typically used on mobile devices such as mobile phones, tablet computers and netbooks."

Some two hours and twenty minutes later we arrived at Staðarskáli, where we stopped to buy "dinner".

Bjarki got this car as a part of his "children's meal" and disassembled it in about two minutes flat.

Hello flatness that we just came from. Up ahead was a big heath, but thankfully the weather there was pretty nice.
We arrived safe and sound at a reasonable time, and mostly collapsed straight into bed. We’ll need to visit Akureyri again soon! 🙂
