Ice-skating
Anna’s class all met up after school on Thursday to go ice-skating, and Anna looooooved it! As luck would have it, one of the girls in class then invited all the other girls to celebrate her birthday in the same ice-rink only two days later, and Anna was Over The Moon with excitement! So today we took her there, but little did we know that upon spying the ice Bjarki would turn into a ‘I-must-go-ice-skate, I-must-go-ice-skate, I-must-go-ice-skate’-crazy child. But he did. So we indulged him. And Finnur took a tiny short video to prove that we did.
This ice-rink has these rather neat support frames for the little kids, and Bjarki really really enjoyed hanging onto one (for dear life). We even managed to get up to decent speed on our way around the rink. A couple of times Anna took over Bjarki-pushing duties, and they did really quite well together, so we should probably try to go again before the rink closes down for the summer.
While I got reminded why I always intended to buy myself my own skates (those rent-things hurt!) Finnur retired to the car for a cat-nap, so there were no more images taken. Boohoo.
P.s. Hjartanlega til hamingju með afmælið Arnar! 🙂
