DesignMarch
I’m almost through week two of The Five Weeks of Utter and Crazy Madness, also known as Teaching Two Classes Concurrently, Both For the First Time. This week was the second week of only ‘three’ lectures (up from two), but next week things will go to ’11’ as I take on doing four lectures a week for three weeks straight… and assign homeworks, make homework solutions (I have a feeling they will turn into shoddy copy-jobs) and grade homeworks for both classes. Yeah. Sleep? Who needs sleep?
With madness breathing down my neck, I decided to enjoy my last free Thursday evening for three weeks, and check out the opening festival of one of the “DesignMarch“-exhibitions, which was being organized, among others, by Guðrún’s sister, Una. The place was pretty packed when I arrived, and they had lots of furniture, and architecture-workflow demonstrations.
I was also invited to attend Hörður‘s The National Flag-Book launch yesterday evening, but didn’t go because I found myself knee-deep in voltage reflection coefficients and standing waves, and opted to go to bed early (erm, 2am-ish) instead of very very late (3-4 am-ish). I suck at timely lecture prep.
