Today Steinunn and Einar Christened their son, Þórarinn Víkingur Einarsson. The mass began at 2 pm, and we were pleasantly surprised to see Kristborg, daughter of Elsa and Þráinn, as a member of the girl-choir that sung in the church today, in honor of today apparently being a national-church ‘Youth-day’. Once mass was over, we headed for Finnur’s parents’ place for a big party, with mountains of yummy cakes and other food.

I was on photo duty, and took some 460 pictures, 173 of which can be viewed by clicking on the photo below:

p.s. There appears to be a bug in PicasaWeb, where the thumbnails become very fuzzy (for example if you’ve set the thumbnails to the biggest possible size, exit the ‘all photos’ view, and then go back to it). I’ve found that resizing the thumbnails (from big to smaller to big again) fixes the problem.
