Apologies to my camera

I’m very sorry dear camera, you must feel ever so neglected!  Yes, yes, I haven’t picked you up and turned you on for three weeks now.  But I promise to give you a little more attention now that the memory of the December photo-glut is fading.

When exactly did I realize that I was neglecting my camera?  Today, at Finnur’s nephew’s birthday party, where all the grandchildren were corralled into one sofa for a photo – and I didn’t have my camera!  GASP!!

So I missed getting a picture like this:

Awww… and… Epic fail on my part!!

So I promise to do better. 🙂  In the very near future. 🙂

Oh, also, here’s a minute and half long video from New Year’s Eve, taken 2 minutes past midnight on January 1st 2011.  Apparently, Icelanders like fireworks! 🙂
