Finnur’s Birthday!
Today was Finnur’s 36th birthday! Whooo! Sadly he didn’t get to do very many fun things since he had to spend the day working. We did have a nice dinner though, and in the evening his parents and two siblings plus other halves came to the new place for a short visit. (The photos here are from our cell-phone, since we left the camera at Finnur’s parent’s place. Oops!)

In other news: We’ve moved! Our first night at the new place on Dunhagi was last night. We borrowed a couple of mattresses, covers and pillows from Finnur’s parents, got a desk and curtains from Holla and Óli, and bought new appliances. Other than that we’re getting by by using the old stuff we left here 10 years ago.
Our living room 'curtains', aka 'vertical woolen blankets' which emerged from one of our old boxes. We're still waiting for the container to arrive, so in the meantime we make do. Here are also two out of four kitchen chairs we had back in the day.
The container is scheduled to arrive in Iceland on Monday, which is a public holiday, so we’ll be filing paperwork on Tuesday, and then it’s anyones guess when we actually get our stuff. Oh, and I’m starting work on Tuesday. Greeeeat timing. Not.
