Movers!
The movers from Peeters Transportation arrived 20 minutes early, at 7:40am. They started with a survey of all our stuff. Then they started working.
The kids checking out the 40 foot container before they went to daycare and school
We piled all the non-container-bound stuff outside.
Wrapping the living room furniture into special plastic/paper pads.
Packing the breakables (and last minute items) in the kitchen.
The couches were taken outside to be wrapped.
We managed to save some money by moving our stuff in the same container as another Icelandic family that happened to be moving from San Francisco to Iceland at the same time as us. What are the chances?!
Our garage. We left the coffee table in California.
More stuff outside out house. They brought out most of the furniture before they started packing into the container.

Finally the movers started carrying stuff into the container.
