A Sunday of goodbyes

We began the day at a park close to where we were staying (Sarah and Augusto's house). We gathered there with the families of the local Icelandic 'sewing club' members for a potluck brunch.

The brand new Sunneva Lukka. Only eight days old! Not surprisingly, she snoozed through almost the entire thing. 🙂

Svava María helps herself to some yummies, which mostly consisted of fruit because the weather was, again, very warm.

Bjarki refusing to let two ten year old girls leave the park after chatting with them for some time. In the end Finnur had to intervene, stop Bjarki shouting, and allow the girls to go.

We all napped when we got home (except Anna, she-who-loves-to-watch-Kipper-the-dog-on-mommie's-computer-while-mommy-naps). Afterwards we took this picture of the kids for the teachers at daycare.

After nap, we all went to Katie and Dirk's to splash around in their pool, which was great because this was yet another very warm day. After the pool splashing we had a lovely dinner, all of which had been consumed when this picture was taken!
