Sunday at Home-base

It is customary for us to spend the first week in Iceland frantically meeting everybody that we haven’t seen for ages. This generally requires little advance planning since we just start calling people up and ask if they’re around for the next few hours.

As we started calling around today though, it quickly became apparent that not a single soul seemed to be at home on this absolutely gorgeous Sunday. We therefore decided to just hang out at Home-base and had a very nice time. Finnur’s parents are currently busy painting the house and working in the garden. Anna had a grand time following people around, and I amused myself by shadowing Bjarki who really likes to wander all over the place!
