Sightseeing

Today we played tourists and visited the Golden Waterfall (Gullfoss) pictured above.  We also visited the Geyser area, and saw Strokkur erupt a few times.  Unfortunately it was raining pretty heavily at the Geyser area when we got out of the car so everybody turned back after a couple of eruptions.  Hrefna stayed behind to take pictures and sure enough, the rain stopped after 10 minutes or so.  Aside from that particular rain cloud the weather has remained fabulous.  Right now dinner is being prepared in the summer house, the sun is shining, the kids are playing and life is peachy. 🙂
