A rainy day in paradise

Yesterday’s birthday-bash was a success! The weather behaved itself, so the guests could stay in the garden, which was fortunate since it’s virtually impossible to squeese 70 people into my in-laws’ house… I took some 130 pictures (I should write a book: “How to be anti-social”; with Chapter 1: “Grab the nearest camera and start shooting”! 🙂 hehe – and they should one day make their way on-line…

Anyway, today is a cloudy/rainy/no wind = nice day and most of it has been spent trying to find the correct driver for Finnur’s old wireless card (for his laptop), but without much luck. Right now we’re at my mother’s house, since she’s got a DSL connectin to the world, which is heaven compared to the good old modem at my in-laws… 🙂

But we won’t be here for much longer! In a little bit we’re heading on a little trip to stay in a summer house in Hvalfjörður (an hours drive away), with Holla and Óli (it’s his birthday today!!) and Halli and Adda. We will be returning tomorrow so Finnur can start fixing the x many computers that need attention in our two respective families. There is no rest for the weary if they’re computer-nerds! 😉
