Family!! And then some!!

We went to visit my grandparents today, only to find that my granddad is now at the hospital with blood posioning… not good. After seeing him at the hospital, we then went to the US Embassy and it took us over an hour to fill out the visa requests, mostly because Finnur got an extra sheet to fill out – only because he’s male!! It had nice questions like if he had special training to handle firearms (aka guns) and/or explosives… After departing with $130 at the embassy, we went and said hi to my mother and three brothers, one of which is going to Belgium tomorrow morning, so I sadly won’t see much of him.

Then Finnur went off to visit more of his family while I stayed on with mine. Later tonight we reunited, and now I’m sitting in front of the computer, it’s almost midnight, and I’m wondering if the amount of sunlight has changed much in the past 4 hours… it could easily be 8pm…
