Anna’s Room Updated
We started re-arranging Anna’s room last 23 September, by adding a new desk, and shuffling the other furniture around. Then nothing much happened until a month later, when I was evil, and made Anna help me sort through all her stuff during her two days of winter break from school. The next day I made labels for her room, which was easy as pie because I cheated and just found pictures online instead of taking my own.
I believe I promised to post pictures of the ‘new and improved’ room, but never really got around to taking pictures until this past Saturday. So here is Anna’s room, as it currently stands:
Anna’s room, aka The Ikea Furniture Commercial, seen from the door. This photo was taken on 10 November 2012, but the room has stayed neat-ish like this since 23 October 2012. The desk is new, and we dug the old red rug out of storage.
The new labels can be seen on the small set of drawers. Also, the room really doesn’t feel that skinny! It’s just not a great lens to take pictures of rooms with!
Looking from the window. The red bookshelf and the desk will be the future collectors of junk, so dealing with that will be ‘fun’… 🙂
Now that the floor is finally clean of random stuff, it’s been much easier to wrangle Anna into keeping it clean. Here’s hoping it lasts!! 🙂
