I take it moving out of CA did not mean moving away from the need to earthquake strap your furniture to the walls?
Hey, no not at all. Iceland definitely qualifies as Earthquake country. But this wasn’t an earthquake… this was a Cal-King sized waterproof sheet that apparently captured water in all the wrong places. Thankfully, we managed to fix the washer (the power-cord got pulled out in the back) and what’s left is some damage on the fronts of the shelves. I’m guessing a trip to Ikea is in our near future (surprise!).
